A big thank you to all the under 17s who represented the club last night despite the champions league final being played.
It was worth it though as we beat Barwell in a nail biter. Cory Hinds (50+ no) and David Allen put is in a good position as we set a score of 109-1 off our 20 overs.
Excellent bowling by Gilbert Davenport (4 wickets), Daniel Boulton and Grant Statham made for a 4 run victory.
The difference between the sides was probably the catching with Stuart Davies bagging one and crucially Daniel Boulton taking what proved to be a stunning over-the-shoulder match winning catch.
