Newbold Verdon 114 for 4

D.Allen 27
C. Leonard 27
Grant Statham 15 no ?
Tom Prime 13 no

Kirby Muxloe 106 for 3

A great performance form all the team including 2 Under 13's and 4 Under 15's . A really exciting game that could have gone either way with the Kirby openers up to 70 for 0 after 14 overs . Grant Statham bowled superb 3 overs 6 runs 2 wickets to secure the win .Also Leigh Chapman bowling a tight over at a vital period of the game.

Good fielding performances from Joe Cartwright, Alex Hammond , Tom Cartwright and Ryan Pester particularly , backed up by a tremendous diving catch from Craig Leonard at short extra cover .

The game was apleasure to umpire and watch , both teams were a credit to their clubs in their performance and attitude . well done to both sets of players .

Well done
Jules
